My Smallest VW Beetles

These are my some of my smallest VW beetles in my collection. The details and paint in these small models are very good considering their size. Most of all, they have rubber tires as compared to my other "larger" scaled VWs that come with plastic tires. The next image depicts how small a 1/87 diecast car is. I am very fond of these particular models because of their nice details amid their size. Maybe one day I may be able to use these if ever I venture into model trains in HO scale- which is also 1/87.

The third picture is my "version" of this model , i made using a template i found in the net and placed it in a VW Beetle in Car Town.

Car Town is a game in facebook- where you build a car garage. You do car related jobs and get rewarded by "coins". These "coins" can be used to buy vehicles and customize them with performance and aesthetic upgrades. You can do jobs or race the cars you have.

As of this posting, this is the only Tomica Diecast  that I have. I really like this particular model, since this specific model of mitsubishi- the lancer "box type" (as it is commonly called here in the Philippines) is very common during the 80s and early 90s. This is also a favorite choice for restoring of many "old school" afficionados here.
