this is one of my "non-VW" diecast collection. this model is commonly known as the lancer "L-type" in the phillipines- because of the L-shaped design of the taillights. this model was very popular in the 70s and 80s and was commonly used as a family car. there are still a handful of these models running around the streets in the philippines. it also sought after by "old school" fanatics as a project car fro restoration.
